Zakes Bantwini at Savaya Bali: Last Light Sunset DJ Set, 12 October

Zakes Bantwini Plays Last Light at Savaya Bali, Monday 12 October

Savaya Bali welcomes South African house music icon Zakes Bantwini to Last Light, the club’s weekly Monday sunset DJ set, live from the iconic Cube. On Monday, 12 October, Zakes takes over the Uluwatu clifftop as the sun sinks into the Indian Ocean. Expect a soulful, rhythm-driven set rooted in the sound that has carried African house to dancefloors around the world.

Last Light is Savaya’s weekly Monday sunset session, staged from The Cube against one of the most dramatic backdrops in Bali. Each week, Last Light brings in DJs whose sound fits the golden hour, so Monday becomes a night worth showing up for rather than just the start of the week. Zakes Bantwini is one of South Africa’s most celebrated house music figures, known for blending deep, soulful grooves with African rhythms and vocals.
