Samanvaya Bali

What began as a dream has become one of Sidemen’s most talked-about resorts. Samanvaya started small with a beautiful slice of land bordering rice fields in the shade of the volcano. The eco-resort for adults-only reflected Balinese heritage with bamboo buildings, alang-alang roofs and a spa that offered tradition-based therapies.

Today, Samanvaya has expanded and now straddles both sides of the picturesque village road. The new complex is a wellness-based resort with modern villas, private pools that open to spectacular river and mountain views and a spacious wellness centre. There are now 3 restaurants in the complex that offer a range of styles from the cafe with its fresh bakes and healthy bites to an Asian fusion restaurant housed in an old joglo with a terrace to enjoy the views and a garden restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For those who favour tradition, Samanvaya’s original bamboo villas and suites offer generous spaces, stunning views, and a host of comfortable amenities. Those who prefer something more modern will love the villas housed in the wellness section. There are pools, terraces, happy hour cocktails and activities that showcase one of Bali’s most beautiful areas. Unspoiled, low-rise and captured in a valley where time stands still. For now, at least.
