Every so often, you stumble on a place that feels like a little pocket of magic. Koli Koli Bali captures that feeling effortlessly. Tucked into the hills of Sidemen, this eco-day club sits between rice terraces and mountain ridges, offering one of East Bali’s most peaceful views. We first came for the scenery, but the kitchen is what convinced us to linger.
The menu leans into comfort with thoughtful flavours. The Chicken Cikka is a standout, warm and fragrant with just the right amount of spice. The Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce is beautifully fresh, cooked so delicately it almost falls apart at the touch of a fork. And the Shrimp with Butter Garlic Sauce is the kind of dish you think about long after you’ve finished it.
Koli Koli Bali feels like a gentle reset; mountain air, honest food, and that quiet Sidemen charm that always pulls you back. It’s one of those places you visit once and immediately plan a return trip.
Tip: Come earlier in the day for the clearest mountain views before the afternoon clouds roll in.
