The food offerings at Desa Potato Head, the creative village resort that includes Potato Head Beach Club, the Beach Hotel and the suites ( formerly Katamama) offer some sensational dining opportunities and one that stands out is Ijen, their zero-waste seafood restaurant. Located on the main floor of the beach club, a lot of thought and planning has gone into creating the menu with fresh, line-caught seafood ( where possible), sustainably sourced ingredients and local flavours.
The fresh seafood and skilful flavour combinations, amazing cocktails and great views are why most people head to Ijen, but it’s great to know that there is almost no waste in the creation of these menus. Potato Head has committed to using waste in creative ways and they show up in this menu and at the bar in some surprising and delicious ways.
