SUMMARY:Potato Head: 15-Year Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:Doing Good Feels Better — Potato Head Beach Club Turns 15 \nA Celebration of Music\, Community\, and Sustainability in Seminyak \nOne of the best beach clubs in Bali is celebrating a major milestone. In 2025\, Potato Head Beach Club marks 15 years of redefining what a beach club in Bali can be — not just a place to lounge and party\, but a cultural destination\, creative playground\, and community space where every Seminyak sunset comes with a story. \nSince opening in 2010 with a façade of 6\,600 reclaimed teak shutters\, the club has evolved into Desa Potato Head — a full-blown cultural village that blends design\, music\, sustainability\, and hospitality. Home to two hotels\, a zero-waste restaurant\, a subterranean club\, and a plant-powered farmacy\, this Seminyak icon remains one of Bali’s most talked-about day clubs — and a top contender for the best beach club in Bali. \nOver the years\, Potato Head Beach Club has hosted everyone from Grace Jones and Snoop Dogg to Peggy Gou\, Overmono\, and Palms Trax. With Sundown Circle\, they reinvented the meaning of a Seminyak sunset\, creating an experience that’s part soundscape\, part ritual. Disclosure even recorded part of their album here — the club literally vibrates with creative energy. \nBut the impact goes deeper than the music. Sustainability sits at the heart of everything. In 2025\, the Desa sends just 0.5% of waste to landfill. And with the launch of a new culinary direction led by Chef Felix Schoener\, they’re doubling down on circular innovation — creating standout menus from what would have once been food waste. The goal? Source 25% of ingredients from by-products and elevate them into flavour-packed\, responsibly made dishes and drinks. \nFrom June to August\, the Potato Head Beach Club 15th Anniversary celebrations unfold across the Desa. Think pop-ups\, cultural gatherings\, collaborations\, and creative surprises — all done the Potato Head way. On 26 July\, the main event takes over the Beach Club with a lineup of beloved Indonesian artists\, including White Shoes & The Couples Company\, Sore\, Diskoria\, and Greybox Ensemble. Then\, on 27 July\, a spiritual ceremony led by Pak Sedana will honour Tri Hita Karana — grounding this new chapter in Balinese philosophy. \nFifteen years in\, Potato Head Beach Club is still setting the standard for things to do in Seminyak. Equal parts hedonistic and conscious\, it’s proof that good times can come with a greater purpose.

SUMMARY:Tri Hita Karana: Parahyangan at Potato Head Bali
DESCRIPTION:Balinese knowledge dialogue series with Sedana\nRooted in the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana\, this series of talks uncovers the three sources of harmony and happiness: Parahyangan (connection to the divine)\, Pawongan (connection between humans)\, and Palemahan (connection to nature). \nGuided by teachings from Balinese lontar (ancient palm-leaf manuscripts)\, these conversations offer timeless wisdom and practical insights for living in greater balance with ourselves\, others\, and the world around us. \nIn this first session\, ywe will explore Parahyangan\, the harmony between humans and the spirit. Participants will learn about the nature of the human soul in Balinese philosophy and how it mirrors the universal spirit.
