On Friday, 11th July, Mosto welcomes a very special guest behind the bar: Matty Opai, Bar Director of the legendary Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in Sydney, for an exclusive one-night-only takeover. Known for his sharp palate and generous spirit, Matty brings a bold mix of natural wines and big-hearted cocktails to Indonesia’s first natural wine bar. Guests can expect a curated lineup of natty favourites, Icebergs signature cocktails, and a few new twists—each one crafted with intention and flair.
Hailing from Auckland, Matty’s journey in hospitality began in kitchens and dining rooms before finding his rhythm behind the bar. Since joining Icebergs in 2014, he’s risen from barback to Bar Director, now leading bar operations across all venues in the group. His accolades include Bar Manager of the Year (Australian Bartender Magazine), and he’s widely recognized as one of the most warm, welcoming hosts in the industry.
