Día de los Muertos (Day of The Dead) 2026 Returns to Motel Mexicola
On Saturday, 31 October, Motel Mexicola takes over Seminyak, Canggu and Uluwatu for Día de los Muertos, a night of remembrance, ritual and Mexican celebration of life.
Expect characters from Mexican folklore roaming the venues: La Catrina, La Bruja, El Charro de la Muerte, plus altars, photographs and staff in full costume. Come dressed for the occasion. Guests in costume between 6PM and 9PM get a complimentary Margarita Sangrienta, and the best dressed at each venue takes home IDR 10 million cash. Face painting runs from early hours, first come first served.
The kitchen brings out Día de los Muertos specials, including Flor de Calabaza Rellena, Los Pollos Hermanos, and traditional Pan de Muerto with hot chocolate.
Come for the ritual. Stay for the food. Leave having celebrated comida, corazón y vida.
